Color guides
This is where questions with computable answers go. Each guide starts from measured data in this library and ends with values you can apply, rather than advice like "watch your contrast" that everyone already knows.

Moving one brand color across app, web and mini program
All three platforms use ten color roles, and not one role name is shared. Measured across 100 palettes: how far web hover states darken, how app variants spread to both sides, why the mini program calls its accent price, and the case where primaryLight inverts in a dark theme.
1150 wordsSecondary text: why four in ten fail 4.5:1
Of 69 secondary text layers in this library, 27 sit below 4.5:1 and the lowest reaches 3.25:1, while not one primary text layer falls below 13:1. The gap is not skill, it is that nobody gates this layer. Three fixes included.
1100 wordsCards, dividers and disabled states: the layers color never shows
Borders sit at a median 1.21:1 against the background and card surfaces at 1.04:1, with not one palette in either reaching 1.5:1. Numerically these layers are almost absent, yet the interfaces look layered, because position and shadow do the work. Three thresholds for when color is all you can ship.
1000 wordsYour tinted background is not actually tinted
By HSL saturation, 38 palettes in this library have a visibly tinted background. By CIELAB chroma, that group measures 1.03, which is indistinguishable from white, and only 9 of 100 palettes are actually tinted. For one hue, tripling saturation moves chroma by 2.6x while dropping lightness from 98 to 90 moves it by more than 4x. Usable chroma windows included.

Why only these
Because these are the questions this library can answer better than a summary would. Color theory, color psychology, how to choose a brand color: written here they would be secondhand, and the web has enough of that. The test is one line: can every number in the piece be recomputed from this library. If not, it does not get written.
The thresholds and calculation behind these numbers are in the editorial standard, and each palette page shows its own measured values.
